Raven — the shadowy heroine of the Teen Titans — is featured as part of DC Direct’s Cover Girls of the DC Universe series. Raven first appeared in DC Comics Presents #26 — an insert that introduces the beginnings of the story that would be continued in The New Teen Titans #1, where she brings the team together in that team origin issue. The Titans later go on to battle her interdimensional conqueror father, Trigon. Raven has many mystical powers, such as teleportation, the ability to sense the hidden emotions of others, and the power to pull the pain from an injured person and dispel it. She is a very powerful figure in the DC Universe. A great primer on Raven’s mysterious past can be found in Tales of the Teen Titans #2.
