Venom: Arise 1:4 Scale Statue
XM Studios unleashes one of its most aggressive Marvel displays with the Venom: Arise 1:4 Scale Statue. Designed and sculpted by the Kucharek Brothers in collaboration with the XM Studios design team, this quarter-scale polystone piece shows Venom bursting upward through shattered statuary, with symbiote tendrils snaking out of every crack in the rubble.
Design, Scale & Display Options
The display measures approximately 56 cm wide, 70 cm deep, and 86 cm tall (about 22 × 27.5 × 34 inches) and weighs roughly 27 kg (about 60 lbs), so it needs a sturdy shelf or a dedicated cabinet. Three interchangeable portraits give the statue real versatility: a classic tongue-out Venom, a gaping-mouth roar, and an Eddie Brock transformation head that shows the host’s face being swallowed by the symbiote. Swapping between them changes the whole story of the display, from full predator mode to the unsettling moment of bonding.
Rubble, Tendrils & Raw Energy
The base is a highlight in its own right. Realistically textured broken stone and toppled statuary give the piece a sense of destruction and weight, and the tendrils emerging from beneath the rubble make it look as if the symbiote has torn its way up from below. The Kucharek Brothers’ sculpting gives Venom a powerful, sinewy build, and XM’s signature paint work layers glossy blacks and subtle highlights so the surface reads as wet, living alien matter.
The composition works from multiple angles, which is important for a piece this deep. From the front, Venom looms over the viewer with arms spread and claws ready; from the side, the upward thrust of the body and the trailing tendrils emphasize momentum, as if the symbiote is still climbing out of the ruins. Careful lighting from below or above enhances the rubble textures and the glossy black skin, making the statue even more dramatic in a dedicated display cabinet.
Who This Statue Is For
This statue suits collectors who want an action-packed, environmental Venom rather than a simple standing pose, and fans of the Kucharek Brothers’ dynamic comic-inspired style. The Eddie Brock transformation portrait makes it especially appealing to collectors who love the human side of the character, and its size and detail make it a natural centerpiece for a Spider-Man or Marvel villains display.
Venom & Eddie Brock in Comics
Venom debuted in full in The Amazing Spider-Man #300 (1988), created by David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane. The alien symbiote that once served as Spider-Man’s black costume bonded with disgraced journalist Eddie Brock, and their shared hatred of Peter Parker created one of the most memorable villains of the era. Over the decades Brock and the symbiote evolved into a “lethal protector” antihero, but the image of Venom rising up to hunt his prey remains the defining vision this statue captures.
