In recent years, Power Girl has become one of the most popular superheroines in the DC Universe. Her rough attitude and amazing costume design have made her a fan favorite. Since 1985’s Crisis on Infinite Earths, Power Girl’s stories have taken place in the main DC Universe. Power Girl (whose civilian identity is Karen Starr), was originally created as an Earth-2 superheroine. With DC comics’ current relaunch of its titles, Power Girl will return to being an Earth-2 character.
